About Us…
Firm Foundations was founded in 2007 by Chris Hinkle who, after surviving several personal experiences of violence and harassment in the workplace including armed robbery, began to promote awareness and prevention of workplace violence, harassment, bullying and human rights violations. She has worked diligently, expending extensive effort, researching and expanding her knowledge of legislation, the impact on business and the personal costs of these behaviours.
Firm Foundations has, and continues, to work with many organizations delivering preventative workshops and training to management, employees and members.
3rd party investigations are a specialty of Chris Hinkle's, working with businesses on cases where mediation and conflict resolution don't work, the team is divided and no longer productive. Chris' unique approach allows her to get to the root of the problem then provide conclusions and recommendations based on the "balance of probabilities."
Continuing in their mission to make workplaces safer, Firm Foundations introduced a new unique and affordable Workplace Violence Prevention Program on November 1st, 2008. It has been received as an excellent new resource that is easily utilized; it is site specific and affordable.
Chris gives back to the community by working with victims of toxic workplace situations. She helps victims to understand they are not alone. Often contacted by email, Chris directs victims to resources that will help them understand their rights and responsibilities and to how stand up for themselves in the workplace.
